Setting Development Standards

 It is important to define the standards before the development starts and after project was kicked-off.  Among the members in the development team, the guidelines should be established

The project communication Plan as described in PMBOK should also be established.

It may include not just phone number, email address in the project roster, but like contact preference, such as preferable call time, and the time zone people work from.  Also, determining collaboration platform and for example, creating a stack channel may be useful.  Document and wiki like content sharing with groups from vendors, from consulting services, and contractors would be important.
