I attended my first standup meeting in my new company.
No one sits. Everybody stands up. This is the daily scrum meeting.
This way we can ensure that everyone focus and nobody uses laptop, checks emails, talks with someone else, etc.
I think that this is a good practice.
Nobody needs to take notes, but the scrum master.
Nobody also needs to look at their notes. They should know what they've done yesterday. There are people dailed in so we all look at the big screen in the conference room. What shown on the screen is the scrum board from Jira.
