Sometime people feel that the organization chat itself is the product they are building and they try to make the organization chat perfect and balance.
I think that organization change is a mean is not the end goal by itself.
The goal of the organization change should not just serve the need for one or few managers. It should result in an overall performance improvement.
Making unnecessary organization change may make some people happy but may create performance problems. The team will not feel stable and safe and some team member may actually leave.
It hurts the employee morale.
