The About Page

To let the customer know which version of the software they are using, you can include the About page.

Some of the information is specific to the installation.

• Name of the Software
• Version Number
• Type of License

It is a good practice to include the following as well:

• Customer Account # - This is the number that the customer can identfy themselves when they contact you, the software vendor.
• Support Entitlement Number (SEN) - When they contact support, they use this information to identify themselves
• Support available until - This can come from the agreement.  It can be used as a reminder.

This page can be long if there are licenses for individual components (or plug-ins)
